Returns every upcoming, non-expired event listed under Ticketwala's 'Events' section for one city (Lahore unless another city is given), one row per event, sorted by start date and time. All listing pages are followed in a single call (the site's full per-city event record, including the complete description and organizer contact fields, is delivered with the listing; there is no extra per-event round trip). Dates and times are the event's own start date/time in Asia/Karachi (never the publication date); end_date is the event's last day. Events whose end has already passed, or that the site marks as expired, are excluded. phone and email are the organizer's publicly listed contact details: the event's contact fields when the organizer filled them, otherwise a Pakistani mobile number or e-mail address found in the event description; Ticketwala's own customer-service helpline and support WhatsApp number are never reported as an organizer number. Unknown fields are empty strings. url is the original event page. large is always false (the site exposes no such attribute; the field is kept for contract compatibility). Ticketwala's separate 'Workshops & Classes' section is not included. A city with no upcoming events yields an empty events array; if the site is unreachable the call fails with an upstream error rather than returning data.

What the API Returns
The get_lahore_events endpoint returns every non-expired upcoming event listed under Ticketwala's Events section for a given city. The response envelope includes a city string, a count of matched events, and an events array. Each element in that array carries the event title, organizer (the listing brand name), date (YYYY-MM-DD in Asia/Karachi timezone), time (HH:mm), venue, and any publicly listed organizer contact details.
Filtering by City
The optional city input parameter accepts a city name as it appears on Ticketwala event cards and is matched case-insensitively. Lahore is the default when no city is provided. Karachi has been confirmed to return results. The endpoint retrieves all listing pages for the given city in a single call, so the response is not paginated — count reflects the full upcoming event record for that city at the time of the request.
Sorting and Freshness
Results are sorted by event start date and time, ascending. Only future, non-expired events are included; past events are excluded automatically. Because the data reflects the live Ticketwala listings, the event roster changes as organizers add or remove listings on the source site.
The Ticketwala API is a managed, monitored endpoint for ticketwala.pk — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when ticketwala.pk changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
