What is the mobile API?
The mobile.de API exposes 4 endpoints covering used car search and listing data from Germany's largest automotive marketplace. Use search_listings to query by make, model, price range, mileage, fuel type, transmission, and zip-code radius, then call get_listing_details to retrieve the full record including technical attributes, equipment features, images, and structured seller contact information.
No input parameters required.
curl -X GET 'https://api.parse.bot/scraper/d7089ec7-9f8a-4eb5-b9d4-4459c81f24f7/list_makes' \ -H 'X-API-Key: $PARSE_API_KEY'
Returns the full list of car makes (brands) that mobile.de's car search offers, each with its numeric make_id and display name. One round trip; the list has around 180 entries and is not paginated. make_id is the value search_listings and list_models take as make_id.
No input parameters required.

Endpoints and Data Coverage
The API provides four endpoints: list_makes returns all ~180 car brands the site indexes, each with a numeric make_id and display name. list_models accepts a make_id and returns every model option for that brand, including both individual models (plain numeric model_id) and grouped series entries (group-<n> ids, e.g. "1er Reihe (Alle)"), along with a group label and an is_group boolean so you can distinguish them.
Searching Listings
search_listings returns up to 20 listing summaries per page across a maximum of 50 pages. Filter parameters include make_id, model_id, min_year/max_year for first-registration year, price and mileage ranges in EUR and km respectively, fuel, transmission, seller_type, and a zip_code with optional country and radius for geographic filtering. Each summary in the listings array includes listing_id, title, make, model, price_eur, a price_rating label (e.g. GOOD_PRICE), and basic vehicle attributes. The total_results field reflects the site's reported match count, and has_more signals whether additional pages exist. When a zip_code resolves, the location object returns the resolved place name, latitude, longitude, and radius in km.
Full Listing Details
get_listing_details accepts a listing_id from search results and returns the complete record. Technical fields include mileage_km, first_registration, power_kw, power_ps, fuel, transmission, cubic_capacity, emission_class, color, interior, seats, doors, and hu (next inspection date). The features array lists all equipment strings. The seller object contains seller_id, type, name, address fields, coordinates, and structured phones and messengers arrays. The images array provides full-size image URLs.
The mobile API is a managed, monitored endpoint for mobile.de — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when mobile.de changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
This isn't an official mobile.de API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.

- Build a used car price tracker that monitors EUR prices for specific make/model combinations on mobile.de over time.
- Aggregate dealer inventory by querying
search_listingswithseller_typeset to dealer and extracting structured seller contact data. - Power a vehicle comparison tool using
get_listing_detailsfields likepower_kw,mileage_km,emission_class, andfeatures. - Create a geographic car search app by resolving German postal codes via
zip_codeandradius_kminsearch_listings. - Populate make/model dropdowns in a search UI using
list_makesandlist_modelswith their numeric ids. - Identify underpriced listings by filtering on
price_ratingvalues likeGOOD_PRICEacross paginated search results. - Extract listing images for a visual car catalogue using the
imagesarray fromget_listing_details.
| Tier | Price | Credits/month | Rate limit |

Each endpoint has a fixed posted price per successful call — most fall between 1 and 10 credits — shown on this API's page before you run it. Exceeding the rate limit returns a 429 response. Authenticate with the X-API-Key header.
Does mobile.de have an official developer API?+
How do `model_id` values from `list_models` work in search?+
list_models returns two kinds of model_id: a plain numeric string for a single model variant, and a group-<n> string for an entire model series (e.g. all variants of a BMW 1 Series). Passing a group-<n> id to search_listings matches all models within that series. The is_group boolean on each entry tells you which type you have. What are the pagination limits for `search_listings`?+
page parameter is 1-based and accepts values up to 50, meaning you can retrieve at most 1,000 listings per query. has_more indicates whether a subsequent page exists. total_results reflects the site's full match count, which may exceed the 1,000-listing retrieval ceiling.Does the API return new car listings or only used cars?+
search_listings fixes the condition to used. New car inventory is not currently exposed. You can fork this API on Parse and revise it to add a new-car search endpoint.
