pointp APIpointp.fr ↗
Fetch Point.P product sheets via API: title, brand, EAN, public price, images, and technical specs for any article on pointp.fr.
What is the pointp API?
The pointp.fr API exposes 1 endpoint — get_product — that returns 10 structured fields from the public product sheet of any Point.P building-materials article. Pass an article code (the A-prefixed suffix from the product URL) and get back the article title, brand, EAN barcode, canonical URL, full-size images, public pricing with billing unit, internal reference number, marketing description, and an array of technical specifications.
curl -X GET 'https://api.parse.bot/scraper/0fcba04e-d607-4137-aceb-ad19c03156dd/get_product?product_id=A3334230' \ -H 'X-API-Key: $PARSE_API_KEY'
Returns the public product sheet for one Point.P article identified by the article code that ends its product URL (the 'A' followed by digits suffix, e.g. A3334230 is one shape). One page request per call. Returns the article's internal Point.P reference, title, canonical product URL, brand, short description, EAN/GTIN, full-size image URLs, public price in EUR with the billing unit (e.g. 'Sac-sachet'), and the technical characteristics plus net-weight dimension as name/value pairs. brand, description, ean, supplier_reference and pricing.unit may be null when the site does not publish them. An unknown article code, or an article the site publishes without a public price, returns a not-found error (422, kind input_not_found).

}About the pointp API
What the API covers
The get_product endpoint retrieves the complete public product sheet for a single Point.P article. Input is a product_id: the article code that appears at the end of a pointp.fr product URL, formatted as the letter A followed by the numeric article number (e.g. A3334230). The response maps directly to what Point.P publishes on its public product pages, with no login required on the caller's side.
Response fields
Every successful response includes a name (product title), brand (manufacturer name or null), reference (Point.P's internal digits-only article number), and ean (EAN/GTIN barcode string or null). The media array contains full-size image URLs with the main product image first. Pricing is returned as a nested pricing object containing price (numeric public price), price_currency (ISO 4217 code, typically EUR), and unit (the billing unit label such as "per unit" or "per m²", or null when not specified).
Technical specifications
The specifications field is an array of {name, value} objects representing the structured technical characteristics Point.P lists for each article — things like material class, fire rating, weight, dimensions, or thermal resistance depending on product type. When a characteristic has multiple values, they are joined into a single string with a comma separator. The number of specification entries varies by product category and how thoroughly Point.P has populated the sheet.
Scope and limitations
The API covers one article per call; there is no batch or search endpoint. The description field returns the short marketing text from the page's structured data and may be null for articles that do not include it. Pricing reflects the public listed price and does not include customer-specific contract pricing, promotional discounts, or local branch stock availability.
The pointp API is a managed, monitored endpoint for pointp.fr — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when pointp.fr changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
This isn't an official pointp.fr API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.
Will this API break when the source site changes?+
Is this an official API from the source site?+
Can I fix or extend this API myself if I need a new endpoint or field?+
What happens if I call an endpoint that has an issue?+
- Sync Point.P product titles, EANs, and public prices into a procurement or estimating tool
- Build a building-materials catalog that surfaces technical specs (fire rating, dimensions, weight) per article
- Cross-reference Point.P article codes against supplier EANs for inventory matching
- Display canonical product images and descriptions in a construction project management platform
- Monitor public list price changes for specific Point.P articles over time
- Enrich an internal materials database with brand names and billing units from Point.P sheets
| Tier | Price | Credits/month | Rate limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/mo | 200 | 5 req/min |
| Hobby | $30/mo | 1,000 | 20 req/min |
| Developer | $100/mo | 5,000 | 100 req/min |
| Team | $300/mo | 20,000 | 300 req/min |
| Company | $1,000/mo | 100,000 | 500 req/min |
Each endpoint has a fixed posted price per successful call — most fall between 1 and 10 credits — shown on this API's page before you run it. Exceeding the rate limit returns a 429 response. Authenticate with the X-API-Key header.
Does Point.P offer an official developer API?+
What does get_product return for the pricing field?+
pricing object contains three keys: price (a number representing the public listed price), price_currency (an ISO 4217 code, typically EUR), and unit (a string label for the billing unit such as the pack, piece, or square metre, or null if not specified on the page). The price is the publicly visible retail price and does not reflect account-specific or negotiated pricing. Are reviews, stock levels, or branch availability included?+
Can I search for products by keyword or category instead of by article code?+
product_id (the A-prefixed article code from the product URL). There is no search or category-browse endpoint. You can fork this API on Parse and revise it to add a search or category listing endpoint that returns article codes you could then resolve with get_product.What happens if the EAN or description fields are null?+
ean and description are nullable. Point.P does not populate every field for every article — some products lack a barcode or a structured marketing description in their page data. The remaining fields (name, reference, pricing, media, specifications) are still returned when available.
