What is the Yallashoot API?

The Yallashoot API provides live and upcoming match data from yallashoot.com across two endpoints, returning up to 10 matches per page with fields covering team names, current scores, match status, live minute, kick-off times, and league logos. The list_matches endpoint lets you filter by sport or league, while get_match delivers full detail for any individual match using identifiers returned from the listing.

Lists matches shown on the site, 10 per page, ordered live matches first then upcoming matches by kick-off time. Each row is one match with league, both teams, current score (0 - 0 for matches not yet started), status LIVE or UPCOMING, the live minute when live, and the kick-off time as the site displays it (MM/DD HH:MM in the site's own clock, which `site_time` also reports; no year is published). Filter by sport (football or basketball) or by exact league name as it appears in `league` (e.g. English Premier League) — the two filters are mutually exclusive. `page` defaults to 1; `has_more`/`next_page` tell the caller whether another page exists, and a page past the end returns an empty `matches` array. `total_matches` is the site's published count for the selected filter. The site lists only live and upcoming matches; finished results are not published, so a match disappears once it ends.

About the Yallashoot API

What the API Returns

The API covers football and basketball matches as listed on yallashoot.com. list_matches returns a paginated array of match rows, each containing match_id, sport_id, sport, league, league_logo, status (either LIVE or UPCOMING), the current home_score and away_score, a live_minute integer when a match is in progress, and a start_time in the site's own clock zone. The response also includes total_matches, has_more, and next_page to support sequential pagination.

Filtering and Pagination

list_matches accepts three optional parameters: page (1-based, 10 matches per page), sport to restrict results to football or basketball, and league to filter by an exact league name as it appears in a league field from a previous response. The sport and league filters cannot be combined. Passing an unrecognized league name returns an empty match array rather than an error, so callers should validate league names against live results first. The site_time field in each response indicates the reference timezone for all start_time values.

Per-Match Detail

get_match accepts match_id and sport_id, both of which come directly from list_matches rows and must be passed unchanged. It returns the same core fields as the listing — league, status, home_score, away_score, start_time, live_minute — scoped to a single match. There is no additional historical or statistical data beyond what the match detail page on the site exposes.

Reliability & maintenanceVerified

The Yallashoot API is a managed, monitored endpoint for yallashoot.com — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when yallashoot.com changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.

This isn't an official yallashoot.com API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.

Will this API break when the source site changes?+
It's built not to. Every endpoint is health-checked on a schedule with automated test probes. When the source site changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified — that's the self-healing layer. Each API page shows when its endpoints were last verified. And because marketplace APIs are shared, any fix reaches everyone using it.
Is this an official API from the source site?+
No — Parse APIs are independent, managed REST wrappers over publicly available data. That is the point: where a site has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a maintained, monitored endpoint for that data and keeps it working as the site changes — so you get a stable contract over a source that never promised one.
Can I fix or extend this API myself if I need a new endpoint or field?+
Yes — and you don't have to wait on us. This API was generated by the Parse agent, which stays attached. Describe the change in plain English ("add an endpoint that returns reviews", "fix the price field") in the revise box on the API page or via the revise_api MCP tool, and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes. Contributing the change back to the public API is free.
What happens if I call an endpoint that has an issue?+
Errors are machine-readable: a bad call returns a clean status with the list of available endpoints and a repair hint, so an agent (or you) can recover or trigger a fix instead of failing silently. Confirmed failures feed the automatic repair queue.
Common use cases
  • Display a live score ticker for football and basketball matches filtered by a specific league.
  • Build a match schedule widget that surfaces upcoming kick-off times using start_time from list_matches.
  • Trigger notifications when a match status transitions from UPCOMING to LIVE by polling list_matches.
  • Show in-match progress by reading the live_minute field during active games.
  • Aggregate league logos and names from league_logo responses for a sports directory UI.
  • Monitor specific match outcomes by passing match_id and sport_id to get_match at regular intervals.
  • Separate football and basketball feeds using the sport filter parameter.

Frequently asked questions
Does yallashoot.com offer an official developer API?+
Yallashoot.com does not publish an official developer API or documented public endpoint for third-party use.
What does `list_matches` return for a match that has not started yet?+
For UPCOMING matches, home_score and away_score are both returned as 0 and live_minute is null. The start_time field carries the scheduled kick-off in the site's clock, and site_time in the response shows the current reference clock so you can calculate time-to-kickoff.
Can I filter matches by both sport and league at the same time?+
No. The sport and league parameters on list_matches are mutually exclusive. You can use one or the other per request but not both together. To narrow by sport within a league, filter client-side using the sport field present on every returned match row.
Does the API return historical match results or player-level statistics?+
Not currently. The API covers live scores, match status, and upcoming schedules for football and basketball. Historical results and player or team statistics are not part of the current response shape. You can fork this API on Parse and revise it to add an endpoint targeting that data.
How fresh is the live score data, and does the API cover all leagues on the site?+
Live scores and match status reflect what the site publishes at the time of the request. The league filter requires an exact league name as it appears in a list_matches response; leagues that the site does not currently list will return an empty result. Coverage is limited to the sports and leagues yallashoot.com surfaces at the time of each call.
