Get live football matches from SportyBet Nigeria: scores, match minute, teams, event IDs, and status — all in one endpoint with no pagination.
What is the SportyBet API?
The SportyBet.ng API exposes 1 endpoint — list_live_football_matches — that returns every football match currently in play on SportyBet Nigeria's live betting section. A single call delivers up to hundreds of rows, each containing the SportyBet event ID, home and away team names and IDs, current score, match minute, half, and match status. An optional parameter also surfaces upcoming matches listed alongside in-play fixtures.
curl -X GET 'https://api.parse.bot/scraper/1df614cd-9f3c-463c-bd99-bb51593c7dd5/list_live_football_matches?include_upcoming=true' \ -H 'X-API-Key: $PARSE_API_KEY'
Returns every football match currently in play on SportyBet Nigeria's live betting section, one row per match, in a single round trip (no pagination). Each row carries the SportyBet event ID (e.g. sr:match:73220854 is one shape), home/away team names and IDs, the current score as a string plus parsed integer home/away scores, the match clock (played_time as 'MM:SS' and match_minute as the integer minute), the half/status label as shown on the site (H1, H2, HT observed for in-play matches; 'Not start' for upcoming ones), the period number, period-by-period scores, scheduled kick-off time in epoch milliseconds, tournament and country/category, venue and the number of open betting markets. By default only in-play matches (is_live true) are returned; set include_upcoming to also return the imminent not-yet-started matches the live section lists, which have null score, clock and period fields. An empty matches array is a valid result when no football is in play at the moment; total is the number of returned rows and live_count the number of them in play.
| Param | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| include_upcoming | boolean | When true, also include the not-yet-started matches the live section lists alongside in-play ones (is_live false, score/clock fields null). |

}About the SportyBet API
What the API returns
The list_live_football_matches endpoint returns a flat array of match rows with no pagination — all currently live football matches on SportyBet Nigeria arrive in one response. Each row carries a SportyBet event_id (e.g. sr:match:73220854), a game_id, home_team and away_team strings, home_team_id and away_team_id, a score field formatted as 'H:A' (null if the match has not kicked off), the current match_minute, and a status or half indicator.
Filtering and response structure
The top-level response includes total (total rows returned), matches (the array), live_count (rows where is_live is true), and include_upcoming (an echo of the parameter you passed). By default the endpoint returns only in-play matches. Setting the optional include_upcoming boolean to true broadens the result to also include fixtures the live section lists as not-yet-started (is_live: false), which is useful when you want to monitor markets that are about to go live.
Coverage scope
Coverage is limited to the football (soccer) category within SportyBet Nigeria's live section. The API does not cover other sports or pre-match markets. Data freshness reflects the live betting section, so scores and match minutes are representative of in-play state at the time of the request.
The SportyBet API is a managed, monitored endpoint for SportyBet.ng — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when SportyBet.ng changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
This isn't an official SportyBet.ng API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.

Does SportyBet Nigeria have an official developer API?+
What does the score field contain, and what happens before a match starts?+
score field is a string formatted as 'H:A' (e.g. '2:1') representing the home and away goals at the time of the request. For matches fetched via include_upcoming that have not yet kicked off, score is returned as null.Does the API cover sports other than football on SportyBet Nigeria?+
Does the API include betting odds alongside the live match data?+
Is the live match list paginated, and how frequently should I poll?+
total field tells you how many rows are included. Because the data reflects a live section, polling on a short interval (every 30–60 seconds) is typical for keeping scores and match minutes current.
