Returns the current live gold and silver rates shown on the Liverate page. One call connects to the site's live feed, waits for the first rate update, and returns it. `products` holds the retailer's quoted products (Gold 99.50, Silver 99.99, each with and without GST) with the quoted sell price in INR (gold per 10 g, silver per kg), day high/low, change versus previous close, and the retailer premium applied over the reference. `references` holds the underlying reference quotes keyed by symbol: MCX gold/silver (current and next contract, INR), XAUUSD / XAGUSD spot (USD per troy ounce) and INR-USD spot. `bid` on products is null when the retailer does not quote a buy price (shown as '--' on the site). `time` is the feed's quote time in Indian local time, may be empty for some references. Takes no parameters; rates update in real time so consecutive calls return different values.

}About the Radhika Jewellers API
Live Rate Feed
get_live_rates takes no inputs and returns two arrays. The products array contains the retailer's quoted metals — each item carries product_id, name, metal (either gold or silver), sell, bid (nullable), high, low, change, premium, and time. The references array provides market reference quotes keyed by symbol, with fields covering bid, ask, high, low, open, close, ltp, change, and time. This gives you both the retailer's own spread and the underlying MCX/spot context in a single call.
Coin and Karat Rates
get_coin_rates returns a coins array with per-item bid and ask prices in INR. Coverage includes 24K gold coins in 1 g, 2 g, 5 g, and 10 g denominations, 22K ginni in 1 g, 2 g, 4 g, and 8 g, and jewellery-grade purity tiers: 18K, 20K, 22K, 24K, along with 99.50 and 99.99 grades for both gold and silver. All figures are GST-inclusive. Each entry includes product_id, name, metal, bid, and ask.
Data Scope and Freshness
Both endpoints connect to the site's live feed and return the first rate update received, so response values reflect the retailer's current published rates rather than a cached snapshot. Neither endpoint requires any query parameters — a bare GET call is sufficient. The rates are denominated in INR and represent Radhika Jewellers' own retail quotes, which may differ from national exchange benchmarks.
The Radhika Jewellers API is a managed, monitored endpoint for radhikajewellers.in — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when radhikajewellers.in changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
This isn't an official radhikajewellers.in API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.

Each endpoint has a fixed posted price per successful call — most fall between 1 and 10 credits — shown on this API's page before you run it. Exceeding the rate limit returns a 429 response. Authenticate with the X-API-Key header.
Does Radhika Jewellers provide an official developer API?+
What does the `references` array in `get_live_rates` contain, and how is it different from `products`?+
products array contains Radhika Jewellers' own retail quotes — the prices they offer customers — with fields like sell, bid, premium, and GST-aware context. The references array contains market-level symbols (MCX, spot) with standard OHLC-style fields: bid, ask, high, low, open, close, ltp, change, and time. They represent two different pricing layers in the same response.Does the API cover gold rates for cities other than Agra?+
Does the API return historical rate data or only the current live quote?+
get_live_rates and get_coin_rates reflect the retailer's latest published figures; no historical time-series or OHLC archive is exposed. You can fork this API on Parse and revise it to add a polling-and-storage endpoint that builds a historical record. Are platinum or other precious metal rates included?+
metal field in both endpoints is limited to gold and silver. You can fork this API on Parse and revise it to add an endpoint if Radhika Jewellers publishes platinum rates elsewhere on their site.
