What is the Sikayetvar API?

The Sikayetvar.com API exposes 2 endpoints covering brand profiles and individual complaints from Turkey's largest consumer complaint platform. get_brand_page returns a brand's satisfaction score, AiVar report card, rated reviews, and up to 24 complaint cards per page. get_complaint returns the full complaint text, ISO-8601 timestamps, site-assigned keywords, upvote count, and all threaded comments for a single complaint.

Returns one page of a brand's complaint feed on sikayetvar.com together with the brand profile. One round trip per call. `complaints` holds up to 24 complaint cards per page, newest first, each with a numeric `id`, `url_path` (pass unchanged to get_complaint), author, view count, a truncated `excerpt`, `is_solved`, and, for resolved complaints, the complainant's star rating (1-5) and thank-you note; `upvote_count`/`comment_count` are null when the site does not render them on the card. Brand profile details (`logo_url`, `address`, `satisfaction_score` 0-100, `rating_count`), the AiVar `report_card` (summary, resolution-success metrics, resolution breakdown, customer thanks, top complaint topics) and the rated `reviews` list are published by the site only on page 1; on later pages they come back null/empty. Paging: `page` defaults to 1; `has_more` is true when the site advertises a next page and `next_page` is the value to pass. Unknown brand slugs return a not-found error. Text is in Turkish as published; `published_at_label` is the site's Turkish date label.

About the Sikayetvar API

Brand Profile and Complaint Feed

get_brand_page accepts a brand_slug (the lowercase slug from the brand's sikayetvar.com URL, e.g. star-tv) and an optional 1-based page integer. Each response includes a brand object with fields for name, logo_url, external_links, a structured address, and a satisfaction score. The report_card field contains the AiVar summary text, named metrics with values, a resolution breakdown as labeled percentages, and customer-thanks attributions. The complaints array holds up to 24 cards per page, each carrying a numeric id, title, url_path, author_name, published_at_label, view_count, excerpt, and upvote count. Pagination is signaled by has_more (boolean) and next_page (integer or null).

Individual Complaint Detail

get_complaint accepts a complaint_path in the form /<brand-slug>/<complaint-slug> exactly as emitted in complaints[*].url_path from get_brand_page. The response contains the full complaint text, title, brand_name, brand_slug, keywords (a site-assigned string, may be null), view_count, upvote_count (the site's "Destek" metric), and ISO-8601 created/published/modified timestamps using the Europe/Istanbul offset as published. The comments array returns each reply with its text, date_published, author_name, and author_url; it is empty when no comments exist.

Coverage Notes

The API covers public brand pages and public complaints on sikayetvar.com. Brand slugs must match the exact path segment used in sikayetvar.com URLs. Page indexing starts at 1, and results are ordered newest first. The reviews array on get_brand_page reflects rated reviews the site surfaces for the brand, each with a headline, truncated body, date_published, and author_name.

Reliability & maintenanceVerified

The Sikayetvar API is a managed, monitored endpoint for sikayetvar.com — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when sikayetvar.com changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.

This isn't an official sikayetvar.com API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.

Monitored & self-healing
Will this API break when the source site changes?+
It's built not to. Every endpoint is health-checked on a schedule with automated test probes. When the source site changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified — that's the self-healing layer. Each API page shows when its endpoints were last verified. And because marketplace APIs are shared, any fix reaches everyone using it.
Is this an official API from the source site?+
No — Parse APIs are independent, managed REST wrappers over publicly available data. That is the point: where a site has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a maintained, monitored endpoint for that data and keeps it working as the site changes — so you get a stable contract over a source that never promised one.
Can I fix or extend this API myself if I need a new endpoint or field?+
Yes — and you don't have to wait on us. This API was generated by the Parse agent, which stays attached. Describe the change in plain English ("add an endpoint that returns reviews", "fix the price field") in the revise box on the API page or via the revise_api MCP tool, and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes. Contributing the change back to the public API is free.
What happens if I call an endpoint that has an issue?+
Errors are machine-readable: a bad call returns a clean status with the list of available endpoints and a repair hint, so an agent (or you) can recover or trigger a fix instead of failing silently. Confirmed failures feed the automatic repair queue.
Common use cases
  • Track a brand's satisfaction score and AiVar report-card metrics over time using repeated get_brand_page calls
  • Aggregate complaint excerpts and upvote counts across all pages to identify the most-discussed issues for a brand
  • Feed full complaint text from get_complaint into NLP pipelines for Turkish-language sentiment or topic classification
  • Monitor the resolution_breakdown percentages from the report card to benchmark how brands compare on complaint resolution
  • Collect comments arrays from individual complaints to study how brands respond publicly to consumer grievances
  • Build a brand-reputation dashboard combining view_count, upvote_count, and published_at timestamps across paginated feeds
  • Extract external_links and address fields from brand profiles for B2B enrichment or contact data research

Frequently asked questions
Does sikayetvar.com offer an official developer API?+
Sikayetvar.com does not publish a documented public developer API. This Parse API is the structured way to access its brand profile and complaint data programmatically.
What does `get_brand_page` return beyond complaint cards?+
get_brand_page returns a full brand object (slug, name, logo URL, external links, address, satisfaction score), a reviews array of rated reviews with headlines and dates, and a report_card object containing an AiVar summary, named metrics with values, resolution percentages, and customer-thanks entries — all in one response alongside the paginated complaints array.
Can I retrieve complaints in a language other than Turkish, or filter by date range or complaint status?+
Not currently. The API returns complaints as published on sikayetvar.com, which is a Turkish-language platform, in newest-first order without date-range or status filters. You can fork the API on Parse and revise it to add filtering logic or post-processing for specific complaint attributes.
Does the API return complaints for any brand, or only specific ones?+
Any public brand page on sikayetvar.com is accessible by passing its brand_slug to get_brand_page. The slug must match the exact path segment in the brand's sikayetvar.com URL. Private or removed brand pages are not covered. If a brand you need is missing or returns no results, you can fork the API on Parse and revise it to handle alternate slug formats or additional brand discovery.
Are complaint author identities or brand responses exposed in the data?+
Each complaint card and detail includes author_name and author_url as published publicly on the site. The comments array on get_complaint includes replies with author name, URL, and date. Dedicated brand-side response metadata (e.g. a structured resolved/unresolved status field) is not a separate field in the current response shape. You can fork the API on Parse and revise it to surface additional comment-author role signals if the source exposes them.
