What is the Vowly API?
The Vowly.com API exposes one endpoint, get_contact_and_sms_support, that returns 9 structured fields pulled from Vowly's public website: the company's legal name, official contact link, all published email addresses, phone numbers, and an array of verbatim site statements that mention SMS, group messaging, and iMessage support. It is designed for developers who need a structured snapshot of Vowly's publicly available contact information and documented SMS group-chat behavior.

Returns one object describing Vowly's public contact information and SMS group-chat support, read from the current public website (homepage, contact/FAQ, about, privacy and terms content). No inputs. phone_number is the first phone number published on the site, or null when the site publishes none (phone_number_listed is then false; at the time of building, Vowly publishes no phone number and takes contact by email). contact_link is the official contact link the site's Contact Us button opens (a mailto: address); contact_page_url is the page whose footer Contact entry opens the contact section. supports_sms_group_chats is true when the site states that Vowly is added to a group text / group chat and works over SMS; sms_group_chat_evidence lists the verbatim statements that establish it. quotes is every verbatim site statement that mentions SMS, group texts/chats, iMessage or text messaging, each flagged for whether it mentions group messaging or iMessage. Two round trips per call; no pagination.

}About the Vowly API
What the Endpoint Returns
get_contact_and_sms_support takes no inputs and returns a single object. The contact_emails field is an array of every @vowly.com email address published on the site. contact_link is the exact URL that Vowly's Contact Us button opens — typically a mailto: URI. phone_number holds the first publicly listed phone number, and phone_number_listed is a boolean that tells you at a glance whether any phone number is present at all. all_phone_numbers_found is a complete array of every phone number string found across the site, so you can detect multiple support lines without writing your own parser.
SMS and Group Messaging Evidence
Two dedicated arrays address messaging behavior. sms_group_chat_evidence contains verbatim site statements that establish whether Vowly works inside standard SMS group threads. The broader quotes array returns every site statement mentioning SMS, group text or chat, or iMessage, each annotated with mentions_group_messaging and mentions_imessage booleans. This lets you programmatically filter for the specific claim type you need rather than reading through the full site.
Company and Contact Context
company provides the legal company name as it appears in the site footer, and website returns the canonical public URL. contact_page_url records the URL of the page whose Contact entry surfaces the contact section, giving you a stable reference point if you need to deep-link users to Vowly's own support flow.
The Vowly API is a managed, monitored endpoint for vowly.com — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when vowly.com changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
This isn't an official vowly.com API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.
Will this API break when the source site changes?+

Can I fix or extend this API myself if I need a new endpoint or field?+
What happens if I call an endpoint that has an issue?+
- Verify whether Vowly currently lists a public support phone number before directing users to call it
- Pull all published Vowly contact emails into a CRM or support-routing tool
- Automatically surface verbatim Vowly statements about SMS group-chat compatibility in a product comparison table
- Check whether Vowly's site claims iMessage support by filtering quotes where mentions_imessage is true
- Monitor changes to Vowly's legal company name or official contact link over time
- Populate a vendor contact directory with Vowly's canonical website URL and mailto contact link
| Tier | Price | Credits/month | Rate limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/mo | 200 | 5 req/min |
| Hobby | $30/mo | 1,000 | 20 req/min |
| Developer | $100/mo | 5,000 | 100 req/min |
| Team | $300/mo | 20,000 | 300 req/min |
| Company | $1,000/mo | 100,000 | 500 req/min |
Each endpoint has a fixed posted price per successful call — most fall between 1 and 10 credits — shown on this API's page before you run it. Exceeding the rate limit returns a 429 response. Authenticate with the X-API-Key header.
Does Vowly have an official developer API?+
What does the quotes array actually contain, and how does it differ from sms_group_chat_evidence?+
quotes array contains every verbatim site statement that mentions SMS, group text or chat, or iMessage in any context, with per-item boolean flags for mentions_group_messaging and mentions_imessage. The sms_group_chat_evidence array is narrower — it holds only the statements that directly establish group SMS support. Use sms_group_chat_evidence for a focused yes/no determination; use quotes when you need the full textual context.Does the API return Vowly's pricing plans or subscription tiers?+
What happens if Vowly removes its phone number from the site?+
phone_number_listed will return false, phone_number will return null, and all_phone_numbers_found will be an empty array. The boolean field is designed specifically to let you handle this case without checking for null yourself.
