What is the Careers360 API?
The Careers360 API exposes 5 endpoints covering Indian university and course data sourced from careers360.com. Use list_universities to page through private or government universities in any Indian state, then drill into individual institutions with list_university_courses for course-level details including fees and accepted entrance exams, or get_university_fees for structured degree-wise tuition ranges and hostel fee tables.
curl -X GET 'https://api.parse.bot/scraper/15535032-c868-4208-bbb2-f0696a766258/list_universities?state=gujarat&ownership=private' \ -H 'X-API-Key: $PARSE_API_KEY'
Lists universities in an Indian state filtered by ownership (private or government), as shown on Careers360's university listing pages. One call returns one page of up to 50 universities with total_records and total_pages from the site; pass page to continue (omitted = page 1). Each row carries the university's stable university_slug used by list_university_courses and get_university_fees, plus location, rating, rank, flagship course and fee, exams accepted, and headline degrees. An unknown state slug returns stale_input.

}About the Careers360 API
University Discovery by State and Ownership
The list_universities endpoint accepts a required state slug (e.g. gujarat or delhi-ncr) and an optional ownership filter to separate private from government institutions. Each page returns up to 50 university summaries including university_id, name, short_name, and university_slug. The response also includes total_records and total_pages so callers can paginate through the full list. The university_slug field is the key input for both list_university_courses and get_university_fees.
Course and Fee Data per University
list_university_courses returns up to 20 courses per page for a given university, with fields covering course_name, course_slug, duration, study_mode, approved_intake, total course fees in INR, and accepted entrance exams. The course_slug feeds directly into get_course_details, which returns a single course's eligibility criteria and admission procedure text, total_fees, a per-category fee breakdown, seats, quota_seats, approvals, and the offering institute's website_url.
get_university_fees returns a structured fee picture at the degree level: degree_fees contains tuition and total fee ranges per degree (formatted as INR strings such as ₹ 10.60 L) alongside max_tuition_fee. The degree_sections array breaks fees down to individual courses within each degree. The endpoint also surfaces hostel_fee_tables — editorial tables with column headers and row data — and eligibility_tables when the source publishes them. hostel_fees_available is a boolean flag indicating whether at least one hostel table was found.
Bulk State-Level Course Lookup
list_state_university_courses combines the university listing and course fetching into a single call. Callers pass state, optional ownership, offset and limit (capped at 10 universities per call), and max_course_pages (capped at 4 pages of 20 courses each per university). The response nests courses directly under each university entry, with has_more signaling whether additional universities remain beyond the current window. This is the most efficient path when building state-level course inventories.
The Careers360 API is a managed, monitored endpoint for careers360.com — not a raw scraper you maintain. Every endpoint is automatically health-checked on a schedule, and when careers360.com changes and a check fails, the API is automatically queued for repair and re-verified. It is built to keep working as the site underneath it changes.
This isn't an official careers360.com API — it's an independent, maintained REST wrapper over public data. Where the source has no official API (or only a limited one), Parse gives you a stable contract over a source that never promised one, and keeps it current. Need a new endpoint or field? You can revise it yourself in plain English and the agent rebuilds it against the live site in minutes — contributing the change back to the shared API is free.
